Biography
Juliane joined the Sarwal as an SRA in April 2016. She recently received her B.S. in Human Biology from University of California Merced in 2014. Prior to her appointment at UCSF, she worked for 18 months at a small start-up company designing a novel technique to extract large amounts of plasmid from bacteria, as well as high throughput screening of media components and solubility agents to determine their effect on protein solubility and inclusion body formation. At UCSF Juls is helping the Sarwal Lab to develop new treatments and assays specific to organ transplant monitoring and management. Her goal is to eventually obtain her PhD in Evolutionary Biology.
