Biography
Tariq grew up in San Francisco, CA. He earned his B.A./B.S degree from the University of California, Davis. While an undergraduate, he worked on the ULYSSES Project, focusing on the efficacy and feasibility of mobile mental health services in Syrian refugee and other vulnerable Arab populations. Now, he is a clinical research coordinator for the UCSF Department of Surgery, Division of Transplant - Sarwal Lab assisting with multiple studies related to kidney injury, disease, and biomarkers. He intends to pursue an M.D./MSBS in the future.
